Husband, Friend, Lover, Dad

The greatest thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother. A child is born when a woman and man make love, but children need an atmosphere of love from both biological parents to grow and flourish.

One expert from Harvard Medical School who as studied over 40 years of research on the question of parental absence and children's wellbeing said, "What has been shown over and over again to contribute most to the emotional development of the child is a close, warm, sustained and continuous relationship with both parents."
The best way to guarantee that opportunity for your children is to get married and stay married.
To say 'I do' is just the start.
To say it every day of your life is the challenge we all face.

Marriage is virtually a universal human institution.
Married couples build more wealth than singles or cohabiting couples.
Married men earn more money than single men with similar education and job histories. Married men and women enjoy a more satisfying sex life.
Married men have longer life expectancies than unmarried men.
Married mothers have lower rates of depression than do single or cohabiting mothers.
Married women appear to have a lower risk of experiencing domestic violence than women in other styles of relationships. A child who is not living with his or her own married parents is at greater risk of child abuse.
Marriage is an important social good, associated with an impressively broad array of positive outcomes for children and adults alike.

For a man to have a great marriage he must become a great husband.
To be a great husband means being a great lover and friend to your wife.
Marriage is a furnace and the challenge is to step into that furnace every day to be tempered, moulded and perfected.

Marriage not only produces children but more importantly produces adults that are capable of loving children.

Every child needs a mother and a father so the journey to becoming a great father includes becoming a great friend, lover and husband to your wife.
